To vote on songs, users log in with Google Sign-In. This ensures each Google account can vote only once per song per playlist. Only minimal account information is accessed, including your Google account ID, name, and profile image. We do not store passwords or other personal information.

2. How Your Data Is Used

Your Google account ID is stored in our private database solely to prevent duplicate votes. Votes are anonymous and are only used to calculate song rankings and display voting results.

We also store your email address, but only to contact you in rare cases, such as important updates about the site. Your email will not be shared or sold to third parties.

You can request that your email and any associated data be deleted from our database at any time by contacting us.

3. Cookies and Session Data

Temporary session cookies are used to maintain login state while you vote. These cookies do not track your browsing activity and expire automatically after logout or inactivity.

4. Data Retention and Removal

You can revoke VotedByYou’s access to your Google account at any time through your Google account settings.
